Meet Becky Rooney, the founder of Film Friendly™
Becky started her career as a Researcher on the talk show Vanessa, and worked up to Producer/Director on live studio shows including The Time...The Place... and Friday Night Live. She then moved into specialist factual, working on popular documentaries such as Young, Posh and Loaded and Dispatches.
A move to the Midlands saw a career change to Location Manager for shows including Storyville, Father Brown, You Don't Know Me and DI Ray and commercials for Under Armour, Goldman Sachs and Electric Mini.
As a Producer, Becky's short films have enjoyed multiple successes on the festival circuit and have been nominated for awards including the Royal Television Society.
Working in different roles across multiple genres gives Becky a wealth of unique knowledge across all production practices. It's this knowledge which forms the basis of our Film Friendly courses.
